Authorities have launched a manhunt operation for six suspects who allegedly broke into a house in BF Resort Village in Las Piñas City, with the victims reportedly tied up during the robbery.

In an advisory, the BFRV Homeowners Association (HOA) Inc. said the incident happened in the Margie Moran St. of BF Resort Village. BFRV HOA President Euan Toralballa reported the break-in on Sunday and urged residents to take extra precautions following the incident.

According to Toralballa, the suspects allegedly restrained the victims while carrying out the robbery inside the residence. He also confirmed that money and personal belongings estimated to be worth millions of pesos were taken during the incident.

“BFRV HOA President Euan Toralballa confirmed that the victims were allegedly tied up by the suspects while the robbery was being carried out,” the BFRV Homeowners Association Inc. said in its report.

Police and other concerned authorities immediately conducted follow-up and manhunt operations to identify, locate and arrest the six suspects believed to be involved in the crime.

Following the incident, the homeowners’ association reminded residents to remain vigilant and strengthen security measures in their homes and surroundings. The HOA particularly urged residents to check if their CCTV cameras are working properly and to keep perimeter lights turned on, especially at night, to help deter possible criminal activity.

The BFRV HOA also advised homeowners to promptly report suspicious persons, vehicles or unusual activity in their area as authorities continue efforts to track down those behind the robbery.

The incident has raised security concerns among residents of the subdivision, with the HOA stressing the need for heightened awareness and cooperation between homeowners, village security personnel and law enforcement.

No further details were immediately provided regarding the condition of the victims or the exact value of the stolen money and belongings. Authorities are continuing their investigation.
