Philippine Airlines (PAL) is expanding its partnership with Qatar Airways to give passengers broader access to international and domestic destinations through an enhanced codeshare agreement starting June 1, 2026.
Under the expanded arrangement, PAL will place its “PR” code on Qatar Airways flights from Manila, Cebu, Clark, and Davao to Doha, allowing passengers to connect through Hamad International Airport to more than 20 major European cities, including Paris, Rome, and Frankfurt.
Qatar Airways, in turn, will place its “QR” code on PAL domestic flights, giving travelers arriving in Manila and Cebu smoother onward access to Philippine leisure destinations such as Caticlan for Boracay and Puerto Princesa in Palawan.
The expanded partnership is expected to strengthen travel links between the Philippines, the Middle East, Europe, and key domestic destinations as demand for international and leisure travel continues to grow.
The two carriers also deepened their loyalty partnership, with Qatar Airways Privilege Club and PAL Mabuhay Miles allowing members to earn and redeem rewards across both networks.
Privilege Club members may now collect and spend Avios on PAL routes across Australasia, Southeast Asia, the United States, and within the Philippines, including Cebu, Clark, and Davao.
Mabuhay Miles members will also be able to earn and use miles on Qatar Airways flights, including routes to Europe, Africa, and other destinations across the airline’s global network.
The partnership also expands reward options for members, including flights, upgrades, travel packages, retail, dining, and other lifestyle benefits.
