The 10th Infantry “Agila” Division of the Philippine Army has inaugurated the new emergency room and upgraded facilities of the 10th Station Hospital as part of efforts to strengthen healthcare support for soldiers and their families.

Major General Alvin Luzon, commander of the 10ID, led the ribbon-cutting and blessing ceremony at Camp General Manuel T. Yan Sr. on May 15, coinciding with the hospital’s 6th founding anniversary.

Carrying the theme “Excellence in Care, Honor in Service: Six Years with Agila Troopers,” the ceremony underscored the hospital’s growing role in providing medical services that support the welfare and readiness of Agila personnel.

Luzon commended the 10th Station Hospital for its continued service and operational improvements, including its recognition as recipient of the Commanding General, Philippine Army “LIKHA” Streamer Award for Calendar Year 2025. The award cited the hospital’s innovation and commitment to quality military healthcare.

“Your commitment continues to strengthen not only the fighting force of the Division, but also the trust and confidence of every soldier and family under your care,” Luzon said.

The 10ID said the upgraded hospital facilities form part of its continuing push to improve medical capability, ensure timely emergency response, and sustain the operational readiness of troops under the Agila Division.
