Fugitive Wanted in Texas Arrested in Cebu

A 44-year-old American fugitive wanted for multiple criminal offenses in the United States was arrested in Cebu following a coordinated operation involving the Bureau of Immigration, local police, and US authorities.

The suspect, identified as Kenneth Alan White, is wanted in Texas on charges including threatening to publish intimate visual material and attempted aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was also previously convicted of felony aggravated assault in Arizona.

White was arrested on April 29, 2026 in a residential area in Danao City by operatives of the Bureau of Immigration’s Fugitive Search Unit, working with partner agencies.

Records showed he entered the Philippines in March 2025 as a temporary visitor but failed to extend his stay beyond June 2025, making him an overstaying and undesirable foreign national.

He is currently under police custody in Danao City and is set to be transferred to the BI Warden Facility in Muntinlupa, where deportation proceedings will be initiated.

“This arrest highlights our firm stance: the Philippines is not a hiding place for fugitives with violent pasts,” said Joel Anthony Viado.

Authorities said they will continue to work with international counterparts to locate and remove foreign fugitives attempting to evade justice.
