Sen. Erwin Tulfo on Sunday advised Filipinos in France, Saudi Arabia, and Israel to remain vigilant and exercise heightened caution amid security concerns in those regions.
“To our fellowmen in France, take double precaution, especially in going to work because of massive riots and looting. For those in Saudi Arabia, be extra careful and mindful of the news before coming to work because there are bombing attacks by Iran-backed Houthis, like what happened to the seven OFWs who were wounded due to the attack at the King Khalid International Airport,” Tulfo said.
Tulfo also cautioned OFWs in Israel to avoid traveling to the West Bank due to security risks involving reported attacks against foreigners.
The senator called on the public to keep overseas Filipino workers and their families back home in their prayers during this period.
