Cebu Pacific (CEB) has taken delivery of its 15th Airbus A330neo aircraft, strengthening its position as the largest A330neo operator in Asia while adding newer-generation aircraft to its growing commercial fleet.
The arrival represents CEB’s fourth aircraft delivery and its first widebody aircraft delivery this year.
“The delivery of our 15th A330neo aircraft is an important milestone for Cebu Pacific as we continue to build a more modern fleet,” Xander Lao, CEB president and chief commercial officer, said.
“The A330neo offers significant fuel savings compared with previous-generation aircraft and gives us the flexibility to serve different markets across and beyond the Philippines,” Lao also said.
CEB expects to receive a total of seven new-generation (NEO) aircraft in 2026, expanding their proportion across its overall fleet as the carrier pursues a transition toward operating an all-NEO fleet by 2030.
Following the latest delivery, NEO models now comprise 78 percent of CEB’s total jet fleet.
Compared to older aircraft models, NEO variants cut fuel burn by 15 percent to 20 percent per flight while generating significantly lower noise emissions, supporting reduced carbon emissions and sustainable flight operations.
CEB maintains one of the youngest aircraft fleets globally. Its operating fleet features 15 Airbus A330s, 27 Airbus A321s, 38 Airbus A320s, and 20 ATR turboprop aircraft, supporting domestic routes across the Philippines alongside regional network expansion.
