Motorists using the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX) Subsection 3 will start paying toll fees on August 9, 2026, following approval from the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB).
The toll collection covers the 7.88-kilometer stretch connecting the Silang (Aguinaldo) Interchange to Governor’s Drive in General Trias, Cavite.
Since opening on May 4, the segment has been free to motorists and has served nearly 9,000 vehicles daily. The temporary free passage provided residents, workers, students, and businesses with a faster alternative to congested local roads in Cavite.
The newly opened section was built to improve mobility along Cavite’s expanding industrial and residential corridors by providing a faster route that bypasses heavily congested local roads.
Starting August 9, motorists traveling from the Silang (Aguinaldo) Interchange to Governor’s Drive will be charged the following toll rates:
- Class 1: ₱35
- Class 2: ₱70
- Class 3: ₱106
For motorists traveling from Governor’s Drive in General Trias, Cavite, directly to Greenfield in Laguna, the applicable rates are:
- Class 1: ₱117
- Class 2: ₱234
- Class 3: ₱351
With the opening of Subsection 3, the operational length of CALAX has increased to 26 kilometers, beginning from the Greenfield-Mamplasan Entry in Biñan, Laguna.
Once fully completed, the entire CALAX network is projected to accommodate up to 65,000 vehicles daily, further improving regional connectivity and facilitating the movement of people, goods and services across Cavite, Laguna, and Southern Metro Manila.
CALAX is a major infrastructure project intended to reduce travel times, ease congestion on key local roads and support economic growth in one of the country’s fastest-growing regions.
