Five individuals on regional most-wanted lists were arrested in separate police operations across the country on July 11, 2026, the Philippine National Police said.
The suspects were ranked among the top wanted individuals in their respective regions: No. 4 in MIMAROPA, No. 6 in Central Visayas, No. 5 in the Cordillera Administrative Region, No. 4 in the Davao Region, and No. 9 in SOCCSKSARGEN.
In Palawan, personnel from the Rizal Municipal Police Station and supporting units arrested a 20-year-old fisherman, alias “Alcaber,” who was listed as the No. 4 most wanted person in MIMAROPA.
Police served a warrant issued by a court in Brooke’s Point, Palawan, in connection with three counts of violation of the Anti-Rape Law. No bail was recommended.
In Jose Abad Santos, Davao Occidental, local police and supporting units apprehended the No. 4 regional most wanted person in the Davao Region.
The suspect is facing a warrant of arrest for Qualified Rape of a Minor, with no bail recommended.
Meanwhile, personnel from the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Sultan Kudarat Provincial Field Unit arrested alias “Tatang Rommel,” a 52-year-old farmer listed as the No. 9 regional most wanted person in SOCCSKSARGEN.
He was arrested on a warrant for Qualified Rape, also with no bail recommended.
In Tagbilaran City, the CIDG Bohol Provincial Field Unit and other police units arrested a 30-year-old man ranked No. 6 on Central Visayas’ regional most wanted persons list.
The suspect is facing five counts of Statutory Rape by sexual intercourse. No bail was recommended.
Police also arrested a 20-year-old stay-in worker in La Trinidad, Benguet, who was listed as the No. 5 regional most wanted person in the Cordillera Administrative Region.
Personnel from the La Trinidad Municipal Police Station and supporting units served a warrant against the suspect for two counts of Statutory Rape, with no bail recommended.
