The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) and the Business Council of Canada have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening business cooperation and expanding trade and investment opportunities between the Philippines and Canada.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. witnessed the signing of the agreement, which marks another step in deepening economic relations between the two countries and supports the recently elevated Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the Philippines and Canada.
The government said the agreement is expected to strengthen collaboration between the private sectors of both countries by building stronger business linkages and opening new opportunities for trade, investment, and economic growth across complementary industries.
The partnership also reflects the shared commitment of the Philippines and Canada to further advance bilateral economic cooperation through deeper engagement between their business communities.
