Pasig Opens Bids for P493.7-Million Worth of Projects and Procurement

The Pasig City government on Monday, June 15, conducted the submission and opening of bids at the Temporary Pasig City Hall for various goods, services, and infrastructure projects amounting to nearly P493.7 million.

Among the major procurement projects are the Supply and Delivery of Various Medical Equipment for the Pasig City General Hospital with an Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) of P218.75 million and the Supply, Delivery, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of a 1.5T MRI Scanner Machine for the Pasig Hope Medical Center worth P160 million.

Other projects up for bidding include the procurement of school uniforms for learners of the Schools Division Office-Pasig City for School Year 2026-2027 valued at P84.32 million, monobloc chairs for homeowners associations, civil society organizations, barangays, and other groups worth P7.1 million, and chemicals for termite control operations amounting to P2.37 million.

The city also opened bids for food provision for various programs and projects of the Pasig City Anti-Drug Abuse Office worth P3.99 million and the upgrading of the existing dry standpipe and replacement of fire hose cabinets at the Mutya ng Pasig Mega Market valued at P7.09 million.

For infrastructure projects, the city conducted bidding for the concreting of Dr. Pilapil Street from Market Avenue to Sapang Liwanag Creek in Barangay San Miguel, with an ABC of P3.18 million, and the asphalt overlay of Dr. Pilapil Street from E. Angeles Street to Market Avenue worth P6.91 million.

City officials said the bidding process forms part of Pasig’s efforts to implement programs and projects aimed at improving healthcare services, education, public safety, and local infrastructure.
