NBI Brings Services Closer to Pateros Residents with Satellite Office

Residents of Pateros and nearby communities can now process National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) transactions more conveniently following the opening of a new NBI Satellite Office at the Land Transportation Office (LTO) compound in Pateros.

NBI Director Atty. Melvin Matibag led the inauguration together with Pateros Mayor Gerald German, former Mayor Ike Ponce, Vice Mayor Carlo Santos, Precy Ponce, and other government officials and guests.

Local officials said the new satellite office is a major step toward making frontline government services more accessible, efficient, and responsive to the public.

With the facility now open, residents no longer have to travel to farther NBI branches to secure clearances and access other related services. The office is expected to cut travel time, reduce transportation expenses, and ease the burden on clients needing NBI assistance.

Officials said the initiative is part of continuing efforts to bring essential government services closer to communities, particularly in areas where residents often spend additional time and money to complete basic transactions.

The satellite office is also expected to serve clients from nearby localities, helping improve access to NBI services beyond Pateros.

Local leaders urged residents to support programs that promote faster, more organized, and more convenient public service, stressing that accessible government services remain vital to communities.
