Former Public Works Secretary Manuel Bonoan remains under observation at the Philippine National Police General Hospital after he was brought there for medical evaluation following his surrender.
The PNP Health Service said Bonoan has been under hospital care since the evening of June 1, 2026, for assessment and appropriate medical management.
Based on the latest evaluation, Bonoan is conscious, coherent and oriented. He has no complaints of headache, dizziness or immediate distress, the PNP said.
Doctors are continuing to monitor his condition while diagnostic procedures are being conducted to guide his treatment and ensure comprehensive care.
The PNP said security measures and custodial protocols remain in place while Bonoan is confined at the hospital.
