Families taking shelter in evacuation sites in Glan, Sarangani Province were met with early morning relief on Saturday, June 13, as government responders provided hot meals and assistance to communities displaced by the recent earthquake.
The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga, through its Mobile Kitchen, distributed packed breakfast meals to internally displaced persons (IDPs), ensuring immediate food support as recovery efforts continue on the ground.
As day broke over evacuation centers, authorities said relief operations remain ongoing, with government teams continuing to deliver basic services and humanitarian assistance to affected families as part of the national response to the disaster under the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
