Ten First Class Cadets of the Philippine Military Academy visited the Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy in Thailand from June 29 to July 3, 2026, as part of the Foreign Academy Exchange Program.
During the visit, the PMA cadets observed and trained alongside their Thai counterparts, exposing them to different military practices, training methodologies, and operational environments.
The program included academic class immersion, athletic activities, and discussions with senior officers. These activities gave the cadets a deeper understanding of the similarities and differences between the military education and training systems of PMA and CRMA.
The Philippine delegation also toured military facilities, simulation centers, historical sites, and selected cultural destinations in Thailand, broadening the cadets’ appreciation of the country’s military heritage and national culture.
Through their interaction with Thai cadets, the PMA participants strengthened camaraderie, cross-cultural understanding, and their awareness of regional military cooperation.
The reciprocal visit underscored PMA’s continuing commitment to improving cadet development through international engagement and professional exchange.
It also reinforced the Academy’s efforts to build stronger ties with other military academies in the ASEAN region and promote cooperation, mutual understanding, and a shared commitment to regional peace and security among future military leaders.
Through the PMA-CRMA exchange, the Academy aims to develop cadets who are professionally competent, culturally aware, and prepared to contribute to regional partnerships and security cooperation in an increasingly interconnected environment.
