The local government of Pasig City has officially inaugurated newly completed drainage, sidewalk, and road improvement projects along Elisco Road and Axis Road in Barangays Kalawaan and San Joaquin.
Launched on June 25, 2026, the projects are worth more than P77.4 million and aim to help prevent flooding, improve pedestrian safety, and provide more durable roads for motorists.

The infrastructure works include the construction and rehabilitation of 3,126 linear meters of drainage lines, the concreting of 3,730 linear meters of sidewalks, and the concrete reblocking of 6,826 square meters of Elisco Road using one-day ready-mix concrete for faster completion and minimal disruption to traffic.
City officials said the projects form part of Pasig’s continuing efforts to strengthen public infrastructure, enhance road safety, and improve the quality of life for residents.
The inauguration was attended by local government and barangay officials, along with community members, and featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, blessing, and project walkthrough led by the City Engineering Office and the Cultural Affairs and Tourism Office.
