National Police Commission Commissioner Ralph Calinisan visited the Sniffer K9 Security Solutions and Training Center Inc. in Bulacan on July 4, 2026, to strengthen cooperation on K9 capability development, operational readiness, and animal welfare.
Calinisan met with Sniffer K9 Security Solutions and Training Center Inc. General Manager Restituto Giron and President and Chief Executive Officer Atty. Rebecca S. Francisco during the courtesy visit.
He was joined by Police Colonel Raynold Rosero, Deputy Director for Administration of the Philippine National Police Explosives Ordnance Disposal and Canine Group.
The visit opened discussions on possible areas of collaboration among NAPOLCOM, the PNP, and private K9 training institutions.
The talks focused on improving canine operational capability, strengthening coordination in K9 training and deployment, and advancing welfare and professional standards for working dogs used in law enforcement operations.
NAPOLCOM said the engagement reflects its continuing support for partnerships that enhance public safety while promoting humane, effective, and professional K9 operations in police service.
Through initiatives like this, the Commission said it remains committed to supporting programs that strengthen law enforcement capability and uphold proper standards in the handling and deployment of working dogs.
