NAIA Terminal 3 to Add More Dining, Retail Options Under Modernization Push

Travelers passing through the NAIA Terminal 3 can expect more dining and retail options in the coming months as the airport continues to turn underused spaces into passenger-friendly areas.

New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC) said it is expanding Terminal 3’s commercial lineup as part of the ongoing modernization of the country’s main gateway. The move aims to give passengers more places to eat, shop, wait, and relax while improving the overall airport experience.

The next wave of dining concepts is expected to open at the international airside area by the end of August.

On the domestic side, a 350-square-meter brand of a famous coffee shop brand is also scheduled to open in July.

NNIC said the additions are part of efforts to make better use of Terminal 3’s available space, especially in areas that were previously underused or not directly serving passengers.

“Our goal is to make T3 more useful and comfortable for more passengers,” NNIC said. “We are reworking available spaces so they can serve travelers better throughout the day.”

The expansion builds on earlier improvements in the landside area of Terminal 3, where more than 40 new restaurants and retail concepts have opened since NNIC took over airport operations in September 2024. Some former offices and other spaces have since been converted for passenger use.

Terminal 3 remains a key focus of the modernization push because of its heavy passenger traffic, limited space, and need for more food, beverage, and service options, particularly in the international departure area.

NNIC said it is applying the same approach to other parts of the terminal, including former lounge spaces and other areas that can be converted into cafés, restaurants, retail outlets, and other amenities.

“We want to make sure that our limited terminal space benefits more travelers,” NNIC said. “Better food choices, more comfortable waiting areas and more useful passenger amenities are part of the airport experience we want to build.”

The company said similar space reviews and commercial upgrades are also being carried out in other NAIA terminals as part of a broader effort to improve passenger comfort and convenience across the airport.

In March 2026, UK-based Airport Parking and Hotels ranked NAIA seventh globally for layover food options and sixth for most affordable airport lounge access in a study of the world’s 50 busiest airports.

NNIC said the continued expansion of dining and retail choices forms part of NAIA’s wider modernization program, which also includes improvements in passenger flow, terminal comfort, commercial services, and overall airport efficiency.
