The Manila Public Employment Service Office (PESO) on Thursday launched a Local Recruitment Activity at Arroceros Forest Park, bringing together participating companies to provide employment opportunities for jobseekers in the city.
The one-day recruitment event allows applicants to meet directly with company representatives and undergo on-the-spot interviews, giving qualified candidates the chance to move forward in the hiring process without having to wait for separate appointments.
PESO personnel are also on-site to assist applicants and facilitate the recruitment process, making it easier for both employers and jobseekers to connect.
The recruitment activity is open until 4:00 p.m., and interested applicants are encouraged to visit the venue and take advantage of the available job vacancies across various industries.
The initiative forms part of the Manila city government’s continuing efforts to expand employment opportunities, help reduce unemployment, and connect residents with companies seeking to fill vacant positions. By bringing employers and applicants together in one venue, the program aims to make job matching faster, more accessible, and more convenient for Manila residents seeking stable employment.
