  • October 28, 2026

A 24/7 parking facility is now open at the Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1) Dr. Santos Station in Parañaque City, providing commuters with a convenient option to leave their vehicles before taking the train to their destinations.

In an announcement on Wednesday, the Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) said the parking area was established for LRT-1 passengers who want to park their vehicles at the station and continue their journeys by train.

The facility is managed by GlobalParking Management Inc. and offers parking spaces for cars, sport utility vehicles (SUVs), motorcycles, and e-bikes.

Parking rates are set at P40 for cars and SUVs for the first five hours, with an additional P10 for every succeeding hour. Motorcycles and e-bikes are charged a flat rate of P30 for the first eight hours, plus P5 for every succeeding hour.

Overnight parking, from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m., costs P100.

The facility has 93 parking slots for cars and 100 slots for motorcycles and e-bikes.

To help ensure the safety of parked vehicles, the parking area is equipped with 24/7 security, closed-circuit television (CCTV) surveillance, and automated boom gates.

Persons with disabilities (PWDs) and senior citizens may park for free by presenting their valid identification cards.

Dr. Santos Station is among the additional LRT-1 stations opened in November 2024 as part of the Cavite Extension project. Other stations opened during the expansion included Redemptorist–ASEANA, MIA Road, PITX, and Ninoy Aquino.
