The Philippine National Police (PNP) arrested a foreign national in Parañaque City over two counts of statutory rape.
The PNP said the warrant of arrest was served on the 32-year-old suspect on the afternoon of June 4, 2026, in the area of Parañaque City Hall.
Personnel from the Warrant and Subpoena Section, together with the Women and Children’s Protection Desk, carried out the operation.
The suspect is now under the custody of the Parañaque City Police Station.
According to the PNP, the arrest stemmed from a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 194 in Parañaque City for two criminal cases, with no bail recommended.
Authorities said the operation was properly documented using body-worn cameras and other recording devices in line with procedures meant to ensure transparency and accountability.
PNP chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. said the arrest reflects the police organization’s commitment to lawful and disciplined operations.
“Ang trabaho ng pulisya ay hindi lang tumugon, kundi siguraduhing ang hustisya ay naipapatupad nang maayos at may malasakit. We remain firm but fair in our mandate. Lahat ng operasyon natin ay nakatali sa batas at sa pananagutan sa publiko,” Nartatez said.
He said the operation supports the PNP’s Focused Agenda under Enhanced Managing Police Operations, which seeks to strengthen coordination and responsiveness of police units nationwide.
The PNP said it will continue to carry out operations with professionalism and restraint while observing legal procedures and respect for human rights.
