The Joint Sustainment Command of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (JSCAFP) marked its first founding anniversary as it underscores its role in strengthening joint operations and sustaining military readiness across the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
The celebration, held under the theme “Joint Effort. Sustained Success,” highlighted the command’s first year of service in providing responsive and effective sustainment support to AFP units.
AFP Chief of Staff Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr. and JSCAFP Commander Lt. Gen. Rey Alemania led the anniversary ceremony at Camp Aguinaldo. They also presided over the inauguration of Bulwagang Captain Liwanag, which the command described as a symbol of its commitment to excellence, service, and institutional growth.
An anniversary Mass was also held at the JSCAFP Multi-Purpose Hall, gathering personnel and guests in thanksgiving for the command’s accomplishments since its establishment.
The JSCAFP reaffirmed its commitment to further improving sustainment operations within the military, particularly in support of national defense, operational readiness, and coordinated AFP missions.
The command continues to position itself as a key support pillar of the AFP, ensuring that troops and units receive the logistical and operational backing needed to carry out their duties effectively.
