The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and the Philippine Red Cross-Quezon City (PRC-QC) Chapter have signed a Memorandum of Agreement to regularly conduct mobile blood donation activities and provide blood assistance to MMDA employees and their families.
MMDA Chairman Atty. Don Artes and PRC-QC Chairman Governor Ernesto Isla led the ceremonial signing of the agreement, which seeks to strengthen coordination between the two organizations in promoting volunteer blood donation.

Under the agreement, the MMDA and PRC-QC will work together to help ensure a steady and safe blood supply for those in need, including the immediate blood requirements of MMDA personnel during medical emergencies.
Artes thanked the PRC-QC and said the MMDA fully supports initiatives that encourage blood donation and extend help to patients in need of blood.
Isla, for his part, expressed gratitude to the MMDA for its long-standing collaboration and continued support for the Red Cross’ programs.
The partnership forms part of continuing efforts to promote public health, emergency preparedness, and volunteerism within the agency and the wider community.
