Cebu Pacific Restarts Manila-to-Dubai Flights in July

Cebu Pacific will resume its Manila-to-Dubai operations beginning July 2 after temporarily suspending the route earlier this year due to security concerns in the Middle East.

The budget carrier said the decision came after completing safety evaluations and coordinating closely with airport authorities in Dubai.

Flights 5J 14/15 and 5J 18/19 will gradually return to regular service as the airline restores normal operations on one of its key international routes.

Cebu Pacific said flights between Manila and Dubai will operate four times weekly, with scheduled departures every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Passengers affected by previously canceled flights may now rebook through the airline’s “Manage Booking” portal on its official website.

The airline assured travelers that passenger and crew safety remains its top priority, urging customers to regularly monitor flight advisories and update their contact information to receive operational notices.

Cebu Pacific suspended Dubai operations in April amid escalating tensions and airspace risks in parts of the Middle East.

Despite the temporary Dubai suspension, the airline maintained its regular Manila-to-Riyadh services throughout the period, operating flights to Riyadh four times a week.

The resumption of the Dubai route is expected to benefit overseas Filipino workers, tourists, and business travelers as international travel demand between the Philippines and the Middle East continues to recover.
