A district-level most wanted person facing multiple counts of qualified rape of a minor was arrested by police in Baras, Rizal, according to the Philippine National Police (PNP).

In a statement, the PNP said the suspect was apprehended on May 8 through a joint operation led by personnel of Police Station 13 of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD).

Authorities said the accused was listed as a District-Level Most Wanted Person under the National Capital Region Police Office.

The arrest was carried out by virtue of a warrant of arrest for four counts of qualified rape of a minor. Police said the court recommended no bail for the charges filed against the suspect.

Following the arrest, the accused was placed under the custody of Police Station 13 for proper legal disposition.

The PNP said the operation forms part of its continuing campaign against wanted persons facing serious criminal offenses.

The PNP said the arrest also aligns with its Focused Agenda, which aims to strengthen police operations, accountability, and lawful enforcement actions through enhanced operational management and integrity monitoring.

“I commend our personnel for the successful implementation of the warrant of arrest, which demonstrates our firm resolve to uphold the rule of law,” said PNP chief Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr..

“Patuloy ang PNP sa paghahanap at pag-aresto sa mga taong may kinakaharap na mabibigat na kaso upang matiyak na makakamtan ng mga biktima ang katarungan,” he added.
