NAVAL STATION JOSE ANDRADA, Manila — The Philippine Navy hosted Royal Thai Navy Commander-in-Chief Adm. Pairote Fuangchan at its headquarters on April 24, marking a step toward strengthening maritime ties between the two Southeast Asian nations.
Vice Adm. Jose Ma. Ambrosio Ezpeleta, Flag Officer in Command of the Philippine Navy, formally received Fuangchan and welcomed the visit as part of ongoing efforts to sustain close engagement between the two naval forces.
During the meeting, both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing cooperation in maritime security, capability development, and regional stability. They also discussed opportunities to expand collaboration through joint initiatives and exchanges.
The visit underscores continuing efforts by the Philippine Navy and the Royal Thai Navy to strengthen defense relations and partnerships amid evolving security challenges in the region.
