Creamline Sweeps 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference Finals, Bags 11th Crown

The Creamline Cool Smashers reasserted their dominance in the Philippine volleyball scene with a masterful sweep of vaunted Cignal HD Spikers in their best-of-three championship series in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference.

Creamline sealed the title in dramatic fashion as they outlasted Cignal in a gripping five-set thriller, 25–23, 22–25, 25–16, 16–25, 15–11, in Game 2 of the series at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The Cool Smashers had to dig deep in the deciding fifth set after falling behind early, 7–9, as Cignal’s power duo of Vanie Gandler and Tin Tiamzon sparked a late surge.

But it was seasoned veteran Jema Galanza who turned the tide with back-to-back hits to level the score at 9-all, which made the pink-clad, pro-Creamline crowd delirious. Her off-the-block attack then pushed Creamline ahead, 10–9.

The two teams briefly traded errors and points before Tots Carlos stepped up, firing a crucial kill to give Creamline an 11–10 edge. Consecutive miscues by Cignal, followed by Carlos’ block on Gandler, widened the gap to 13–10.

Gandler kept Cignal within reach with a crosscourt hit, but Creamline quickly shut the door. Carlos answered with another attack before Bea De Leon sealed the victory with a decisive block, sparking celebrations on the court.

The championship marks Creamline’s return to the top after a title drought in 2025, their first since ruling the All-Filipino Conference in 2024.

Meanwhile, Michelle Morente Pons was named Finals Most Valuable Player, leading the Cool Smashers’ scintillating run in the series.
