ShopeePay, a digital payment and financial services provider in Southeast Asia and Brazil, today announced its integration with HitPay, one of the fastest-growing payment gateways for Philippine SMEs.

This integration connects millions of ShopeePay users with thousands of online and physical stores nationwide, spanning a wide range of brands such as Jisulife, Aula Philippines, Chiron Activewear, Mad Bombs, Hale Manna, and Coastal Gardens, among others.

With digital transactions in the Philippines surging in 2025, payments in the Philippines are still often fragmented for both consumers and merchants, with multiple payment methods and platforms resulting in inconsistent checkout experiences across online and offline channels.

This fragmentation also adds complexity to merchants’ day-to-day operations, especially for SMEs who often face higher barriers in adopting digital solutions.

The ShopeePay–HitPay integration addresses these challenges by bringing a unified, secure, and easy-to-use payment pathway to more Filipinos.

This partnership brings together HitPay’s robust payment infrastructure and ShopeePay’s trusted digital ecosystem to create meaningful value for both consumers and merchants.

For ShopeePay users, it expands payment acceptance across more online and offline businesses nationwide enabling seamless, secure transactions on a familiar, trusted platform.

For HitPay merchants, the integration consolidates ShopeePay into a single, streamlined gateway, simplifying operations while unlocking access to a broader, highly engaged user base. This enables improved conversion rates, faster checkout, and more dependable payment collection for common everyday transactions, including subscriptions.

Through ShopeePay, Monee’s core payment experiences are now supported on HitPay: ShopeePay Wallet – Fast and easy checkouts using ShopeePay balance; SPayLater – Flexible payment options; and MariBank Philippines Inc. (A Rural Bank) – Smooth and secure transactions via a linked MariBank account

The partnership between ShopeePay and HitPay reinforces both companies’ shared vision of expanding digital financial access and supporting business growth across the Philippines.

Hazel Sumampong, Head of Product and Marketing at ShopeePay, shared that this collaboration is a meaningful step toward building a more inclusive payments ecosystem.

“At ShopeePay, we’re committed to giving users easy access to digital payment services. We want Filipinos to enjoy fast and secure online and offline payments through a more inclusive digital financial ecosystem. Our integration with HitPay strengthens this mission by making digital payments more convenient for users and more empowering for businesses,” she said.

“We’re thrilled to welcome ShopeePay into our merchant ecosystem. With mobile wallets accounting for more than 60% of all retail e-commerce transaction value in the Philippines, this partnership comes at an opportune time. By embedding ShopeePay directly into HitPay, we are enabling our merchants to capture this dominant shift in consumer behavior and connect seamlessly with millions of active ShopeePay users,” HitPay CEO Aditya Haripurkar said.

With the integration now live, HitPay merchants across the Philippines can immediately accept ShopeePay for both online and offline transactions, including one-time and recurring payments.
