A New Era for Bruno Mars
The Philippine shows follow the release of The Romantic on February 27, Mars’ first solo album in nearly a decade after 24K Magic.
The album ushered in another strong chart run for Mars. Its first single, “I Just Might,” became a chart-topper, while “Risk It All” climbed to No. 1 on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100.
The accompanying tour has also drawn significant demand. Earlier this year, The Romantic Tour sold 2.1 million tickets in a single day across North America, Europe and the United Kingdom, setting a Live Nation record.
The tour kicked off in Las Vegas in April 2026 and has since expanded with additional shows.
Back at the Philippine Arena
The 2027 concerts will mark Mars’ first Philippine performances since his two-night run at the Philippine Arena in June 2023.
Before that, he brought his 24K Magic World Tour to Manila in 2018.
Mars returns with a new solo album while sharing the tour with a familiar collaborator. He and .Paak formed Silk Sonic in 2021 and released An Evening with Silk Sonic, the project behind songs including “Leave the Door Open” and “Smokin Out the Window.”
The May 2027 dates will bring Mars back to the same Philippine venue four years after his last performances in the country, this time during his first full headline tour in nearly a decade.
