Mayors for Good Governance (M4GG) celebrated its third anniversary on August 22, 2026, gathering local chief executives and partner organizations at the Diamond Hotel Manila to renew their shared commitment to transparent, accountable and people-centered public service.
The anniversary summit was led by M4GG Convenors, including Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong, Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto and Isabela City Mayor Sitti Hataman. Joining the convenors was Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo, who participated in a panel discussion detailing the challenges and key lessons of local leadership, as well as personal insights gained from years in public office.
The event underscored M4GG’s steady expansion from a small network of local chief executives into a nationwide movement aimed at combating corruption, enhancing local government operations and driving measurable reform across communities.
Founded in August 2023, M4GG continues to champion its anti-corruption agenda while fostering a network of action-oriented leaders.
The organization maintains that true governance must be measured not merely by policy outputs, but by concrete improvements in the daily lives of citizens.
