Flooding affected several areas in Pasig City on Sunday, August 9, with some roads becoming impassable to motorcycles and vehicles as the Enhanced Southwest Monsoon or Habagat continues to bring heavy rains.
According to the latest report from barangay officials as of 11 a.m., the highest recorded flood level reached 60.96 centimeters (24 inches) along Kabutihan Road in Barangay Dela Paz, making the road impassable to motorcycles and sedan-type cars. Several other roads in Dela Paz also reported flooding ranging from 12 to 18 inches, affecting motorists in the area.
