A new set of mentors is taking over the iconic red chairs on “The Voice Kids Philippines” Season 8, with Julie Anne San Jose, Yeng Constantino, and Gloc-9 joining as coaches.
The three artists bring different musical backgrounds to the competition — from pop and rock to hip-hop — as they guide young performers hoping to make their mark in the singing contest.
Julie Anne San Jose returns to the coaching panel after previously becoming part of the show’s roster in its GMA Network run. Known for her versatility as a singer and performer, she will once again take on the role of mentoring aspiring young artists.
Joining her is Yeng Constantino, who returns to the franchise in a new role after previously being connected with The Voice as a host. The award-winning singer-songwriter is known for her pop-rock sound and songwriting career.
Completing the lineup is Gloc-9, one of the country’s most respected rappers and lyricists. His addition brings a hip-hop perspective to the coaching panel, adding another musical genre to the competition.
The upcoming season follows previous GMA Network editions of The Voice Kids Philippines, which featured coaches including Billy Crawford, Julie Anne San Jose, Stell and Pablo of SB19, Zack Tabudlo, and Ben&Ben members Paolo and Miguel Guico.
With three artists representing different generations and styles of Filipino music, “The Voice Kids Philippines” Season 8 is set to introduce a new coaching dynamic as young singers compete for the chance to develop their talents on the national stage.
