Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff General Romeo S. Brawner Jr. visited the National Capital Region Command (NCRCOM) on July 15 as part of his farewell visits to major AFP units ahead of his retirement.
Brawner was welcomed by NCRCOM Commander Major General Gregorio B. Hernandez during the visit, where he met with personnel, received updates on the command’s operational initiatives, and reiterated the importance of maintaining a capable, disciplined, and responsive force in securing the National Capital Region.
The AFP chief emphasized the need to sustain operational excellence, unity, and mission readiness across all commands as the organization continues to fulfill its mandate.
The visit highlighted Brawner’s commitment to ensuring that every AFP unit remains strong, prepared, and positioned to build on the gains achieved during his leadership.
