The suspect, a miner originally from Itogon, Benguet, is facing charges under the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act. Bail was set at ₱120,000.
The three accused were informed of the reasons for their arrest and their constitutional rights before being taken to their respective police stations for documentation and court proceedings.
“These arrests underscore our unwavering commitment to ensuring that those who evade the law are located and brought before the courts. Every successful manhunt strengthens public confidence that justice will prevail,” PNP chief Police General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. said.
“Hindi namin bibiguin ang mga biktima. Titiyakin naming mananagot sa batas ang mga akusadong pinaghahanap ng hukuman,” he added.
