Maynilad Water Services, Inc. will implement scheduled water service interruptions in parts of Quezon City and Valenzuela this week to carry out maintenance on its distribution network.
In an advisory, Maynilad said the temporary interruptions are part of regular network upkeep intended to keep its West Zone water distribution system safe, reliable, and in good operating condition.
In Quezon City, Maynilad will conduct overnight network diagnostics and leak localization from 10 pm to 6 am in selected areas.
The affected areas include Barangays Bagbag, San Bartolome, and Talipapa in Kingspoint from July 6 to 7; Barangay Apolonio Samson, particularly the Toctocan corner Malac area, from July 7 to 8; and Barangay Gulod, including Villareal corner Quirino Highway, from July 8 to 9.
Water service interruptions will also affect Barangay Gulod in the Nitang area from July 9 to 10; Barangay Sauyo in Hummer Compound from July 10 to 11; Barangays Bagbag, Nagkaisang Nayon, and San Bartolome in the Odelco corner Saint James and Rebisco areas from July 11 to 12; and Barangays Gulod and Sta. Monica in Cresta Verde from July 12 to 13.
In Valenzuela City, maintenance work will be conducted from July 6 to 10 between 12:01 am and 4 am.
The activity will affect portions of Barangays Gen. T. De Leon and Parada, including Bernardino Street, Santulan Street, Gen. T. De Leon Road, De Guzman Street, and M. Delos Reyes Street.
Maynilad said the maintenance activities were scheduled during off-peak hours and confined to specific areas to reduce inconvenience to customers while improving the reliability of the water distribution network.
The company advised affected customers to store enough water before the scheduled interruptions.
Customers were also reminded to let the water run briefly once service resumes until it becomes clear.
