1,000 Housing Beneficiaries Get Land Titles Under Marcos 4PH Program

Malacañang on Monday said 1,000 beneficiaries of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s flagship housing program have received their Transfer Certificates of Title (TCT), giving them formal ownership of land they had long sought to secure.

Presidential Communications Office Undersecretary and Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said the distribution was carried out under the expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Program, or 4PH, which aims to provide Filipino families with access to secure and dignified housing.

“Informal settlers no more…” Castro said during a Palace briefing, describing the impact of the program on families who had waited years for land tenure.

“Dahil sa ilalim ng expanded 4PH program ng Pangulo, mas maraming Pilipino na ang nakakamit ang kanilang hinahangad na titulo!” she added.

Castro said more than 200 beneficiaries from the San Isidro Labrador Homeowners Association and over 800 beneficiaries from Sitio Santo Niño in Antipolo recently received their titles during an awarding ceremony led by the Social Housing Financing Corporation.

“Pangarap lang noon pero reyalidad na ngayon… Ganito mailalarawan ang magandang bunga ng expanded 4PH program ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. para sa mga naging benepisyaryo nito,” Castro said.

She said some beneficiaries had waited more than 25 years before finally receiving their land titles.

“Para sa ibang benepisyaryo, mahigit 25 years ang kanilang hinintay para makamit ang pangarap na titulo ng lupa,” Castro said.

The housing program is being implemented through the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), with intensified efforts under Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling to accelerate land tenure and housing delivery.

Castro said the 4PH program is not limited to distributing land titles, but is part of the administration’s broader push to provide safe, stable, and dignified homes for Filipino families.

“Disenteng tahanan at pamumuhay na may dignidad para sa lahat… Ito ang layunin ng programang pabahay ni Pangulong Marcos Jr. para sa mga Pilipinong patuloy na nagsisikap at nangangarap,” she said.

Malacañang said the latest title distribution reflects the continuing rollout of the 4PH program, a key component of the Marcos administration’s housing and social welfare agenda aimed at addressing the country’s housing backlog and improving land security for low-income families.
