The National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA) has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting inclusive sports and holistic development for persons with disabilities as it continues its partnership with the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) for the 2026 Walk, Run, & Roll.

The fun run, among the highlights of the 48th National Disability Rights Week, will be held on July 26 at the University of the Philippines Diliman in Quezon City. It is expected to gather persons with disabilities, their families, friends, athletes, and inclusion advocates.

The event seeks to promote accessibility, equal participation, and wider opportunities for persons with disabilities in sports and recreation. It also aims to encourage an active lifestyle while helping build more inclusive spaces for the community.

The NCDA, which has served as a key event partner since 2024, said Walk, Run, & Roll also provides a platform to advance inclusion and disability rights, empowering persons with disabilities to participate more fully in society.

This year’s event will feature 1K, 3K, 5K, and 10K tracks, along with a disability-friendly racecourse layout designed to accommodate different fitness levels and physical capabilities.

According to the PSC, around 5,000 participants are expected to join the event.

The NCDA also encouraged persons with disabilities to take part in the fun run and continue engaging in physical and fitness activities.
