  • June 30, 2026

The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority has expanded its partnership with construction industry stakeholders to strengthen workforce development and align skills training with industry needs.

TESDA said the partnership was formalized through the ceremonial signing of a Deed of Accession with new member organizations of the National Industry TVET Board for the Construction Sector.

The board welcomed three new members: the National Union of Building and Construction Workers, the Organization of Socialized and Economic Housing Developers of the Philippines, and the Philippine Society of Ventilating, Air Conditioning and Refrigerating Engineers.

TESDA said the expanded membership brings together representatives from labor, housing development, and professional organizations to help improve technical and vocational education and training programs for the construction sector.

The agency said the collaboration forms part of its efforts to produce a more skilled construction workforce capable of meeting the demands of the country’s growing construction industry.
