Hundreds of Thousands Expected at LoveLaban Pride PH Festival In Quezon City

Hundreds of thousands of members of the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies are expected to gather in Quezon City on Saturday for the LoveLaban Pride PH Festival 2026, one of the country’s largest Pride celebrations.

The festival, hosted by the Quezon City government in partnership with the University of the Philippines Diliman, serves as the culminating event of the city’s month-long Pride celebration, which began on June 6.

Activities are centered at the UP Diliman campus, where participants are expected to join the annual Pride March before a series of performances, advocacy programs, and community activities.

Organizers are hoping to surpass last year’s attendance of around 300,000 participants, with advocacy groups, civil society organizations, private sector partners, and supporters from various sectors expected to take part.

The Pride March highlights the LGBTQIA+ community’s continuing call for equal rights, protection from discrimination, and policies that promote inclusivity, dignity, and respect for diversity.

It also serves as a celebration of the community’s achievements, resilience, and continuing fight for recognition and equality.

Adding to this year’s festivities is a lineup of performers and personalities, including actresses Janella Salvador and Michelle Dee, content creator Mika Salamanca, television personality Kaladkaren, OPM band Cup of Joe, and drag queens Precious Paula Nicole and Eva Le Queen.

The festival also features advocacy booths, community exhibits, educational activities, and programs promoting awareness of LGBTQIA+ issues, health, and human rights.

Authorities have deployed security personnel, traffic enforcers, and emergency response teams around the venue to help ensure the safety of participants and manage the expected influx of attendees throughout the day.

Organizers urged participants to celebrate responsibly while carrying the festival’s message of love, equality, acceptance, and solidarity.
