Troops of the 6th Infantry “Kampilan” Division and Joint Task Force Central (JTFC) paid tribute to Brig. Gen. Aldrin Annani, Deputy Commander for External Defense Operations of the Western Mindanao Command (WMC), during his farewell visit to Camp Siongco in Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao on May 28.
Annani was welcomed by 6ID and JTFC personnel as he visited the division headquarters, marking one of his final engagements with the unit in his current capacity.
A member of the Philippine Military Academy “Bantay Laya” Class of 1994, Annani is a veteran combat pilot with extensive experience in military operations, including combat and humanitarian missions in support of national security and public service.
The visit underscored the WMC’s continuing role in guiding and supporting units under its area of responsibility, particularly in strengthening operational readiness and interoperability for external defense operations.
It also reaffirmed the commitment of the 6ID and JTFC to carry out WMC’s operational priorities while sustaining peace, security, and stability within their joint operational area.
