Road repairs and reblocking works will take place across key areas in Quezon City this May, with motorists advised to expect delays and use alternate routes.

In an advisory, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will implement the projects from May 1 to May 31.

The outer lane of the EDSA Tunnel along Quezon Avenue will undergo reblocking from 11 p.m. on May 1 until 5 p.m. on May 4.

Along Katipunan Avenue (southbound), from UP Town Center to C.P. Garcia Avenue, rotomilling and asphalt overlay works will be carried out from 11 p.m. every Friday to 5 a.m. every Monday.

Asphalt overlay works will also be conducted on E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue, from Mariblo Bridge to G. Araneta Avenue, from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. daily from May 1 to May 7.

Traffic personnel will be deployed to manage vehicle flow during the implementation of the projects.
