The Philippine National Police–Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HPG) arrested three wanted persons in separate operations in Batangas, North Cotabato, and Davao del Norte, as authorities widened efforts to track down individuals facing criminal charges.
The arrests were made on May 15, 2026 through coordinated police operations backed by intelligence monitoring, warrant service, checkpoint inspection, and verification procedures.
In North Cotabato, police served a warrant of arrest against a 35-year-old woman wanted for alleged falsification of public documents. Authorities said she was properly informed of the warrant and peacefully taken into custody. She is set to be turned over to the court that issued the warrant for further proceedings.
In Davao del Norte, a 44-year-old man was arrested during a checkpoint operation after he was initially flagged for traffic violations. Police later found that the motorcycle he was driving had been reported missing and was allegedly linked to a carnapping case, prompting authorities to place him under custody for further investigation.
A separate operation in Batangas led to the apprehension of a 32-year-old woman wanted for estafa. Police said the arrest was carried out through a coordinated law enforcement operation supported by intelligence information.
PNP chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. said the arrests reflected the police organization’s continued pursuit of wanted persons and suspects in criminal cases.
“Hindi po tayo tumitigil sa paghahanap at pag-aresto sa mga may kaso. Tuloy-tuloy ang ating operasyon para masigurong mapapanagot sila sa batas at maramdaman ng publiko ang maayos na pagpapatupad ng hustisya,” Nartatez said.
All three suspects are now under the custody of the operating units for documentation and proper disposition before their turnover to the concerned courts.
The PNP said it would continue intensifying operations against wanted persons and other criminal activities as part of its broader public safety and security campaign.
The operations also form part of the police organization’s transformation efforts under the program “Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat at Nararamdaman.”
