Public satisfaction with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. dropped in the first quarter of the year, according to the latest Social Weather Stations survey.
The SWS poll, conducted from March 24 to 31 among 1,500 adults nationwide, showed Marcos receiving a net satisfaction rating of -15, down from a “neutral” -3 in November 2025.
SWS said 33 percent of Filipinos were satisfied with the President’s performance, lower than the previous 40 percent. Those who were dissatisfied rose to 49 percent from 43 percent, while the undecided slightly increased to 18 percent from 17 percent.
The net satisfaction score is computed by subtracting the percentage of dissatisfied respondents from those who said they were satisfied.
Under the SWS classification system, net satisfaction ratings of +70 and above are considered “excellent”; +50 to +69, “very good”; +30 to +49, “good”; +10 to +29, “moderate”; +9 to -9, “neutral”; -10 to -29, “poor”; -30 to -49, “bad”; -50 to -69, “very bad”; and -70 and below, “execrable.”
The survey had a margin of error of plus or minus three percentage points for national results.
SWS also asked respondents about the President’s health. The survey found that 35 percent believed Marcos was in good health, 35 percent were undecided, and 30 percent did not believe his health was good.
The latest findings marked a further decline in the President’s public satisfaction rating as more respondents expressed dissatisfaction with his performance in the first quarter.
