Luzon International Premiere Airport Development (LIPAD) Corporation, the private operator of Clark International Airport, on Tuesday unveiled Clark AeroDistrict, the country’s first world-class airport city, as it expands its aviation operations into a fully integrated economic and business hub.
During a press briefing, LIPAD President and Chief Executive Officer Noel Manankil said the development seeks to position Clark as a leading center for aviation, logistics, business and investment while contributing to the country’s economic growth.
Anchored by Clark International Airport, the 759-hectare master-planned development is designed to transform the airport into the center of an interconnected ecosystem where aviation, commerce, logistics and everyday life converge.
The project is expected to reinforce Clark’s role as one of the Philippines’ major economic gateways and establish it as a future-ready hub for aviation-related activities and investments.
Global infrastructure consulting firm AECOM prepared the master plan for the development, which is strategically located within the Clark Freeport Zone.
Built on government-owned land without right-of-way constraints, the project benefits from investment-friendly policies, streamlined business procedures and one-stop investment services, making it an attractive destination for local and international investors.
The master plan is divided into four development zones that will accommodate aviation-related industries, cargo and logistics operations, commercial and mixed-use developments and the airport’s future expansion.
Planned facilities include dedicated areas for Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul services, General Aviation, cargo and freight operations and future passenger terminal developments.
At the center of Clark AeroDistrict is an integrated cargo and logistics ecosystem designed to support sustained cargo growth and accommodate new and emerging logistics companies.
The project will provide scalable and investment-ready infrastructure aimed at strengthening supply chains and improving the movement of goods across domestic and international markets.
Clark AeroDistrict also benefits from its location within the Clark Freeport Zone, one of the country’s fastest-growing economic centers.
The development is surrounded by industrial and manufacturing estates, information technology and business process outsourcing (BPO) companies, hotels, golf courses, residential communities and leisure destinations, creating a dynamic environment for businesses and investors.
The project is backed by the combined expertise of the LIPAD Consortium, which includes Changi Airports International, recognized globally for operating one of the world’s leading airports.
The consortium also includes JG Summit Holdings, which has interests in aviation, logistics, retail and transportation through Cebu Pacific; Filinvest Development Corporation, a major property and hospitality developer; and Philippine Airport Ground Support Solutions, one of the country’s leading aviation service providers.
