The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) has pledged to expedite the processing and release of the 2024 Performance-Based Bonus (PBB) for public school teachers nationwide following executive directives to eliminate administrative delays.
DBM assured teaching personnel that oversight units are coordinating closely with the Department of Education to validate performance metrics and streamline clearance steps.
In a statement, DBM said, “we are committed to ensuring that there are no unnecessary delays in releasing the performance incentives earned by our dedicated public-school teachers.”
They also said funds will be transferred directly to regional administrative offices as soon as compliance evaluations are completed.
The commitment aligns with orders issued by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. directing state agencies to prioritize educator welfare and improve institutional support for the public education workforce.
The agency noted that administrative teams are actively monitoring submission schedules to guarantee prompt fund disbursement across regional divisions.
