Bitstar Enters Enterprise Broadband Market With Digital-First Internet Service

Bitstar Telecom Inc. is rolling out its enterprise internet services as the Philippine telecommunications sector opens to greater competition under the Konektadong Pinoy Act.

The new telecommunications player officially launched its enterprise internet service on April 15, 2026, and has started serving businesses across the National Capital Region. The company said it plans to expand its coverage nationwide as it grows its network and customer base.

Bitstar is entering the market as a digital-first internet service provider, offering high-speed fiber connectivity to enterprises at competitive prices. The company said it aims to simplify the customer experience by digitizing the entire service journey, from inquiry and onboarding to installation, account management, and after-sales support.

“Digital customer experience ought to be more common for service companies, which is an opportunity for Bitstar to cater to the evolving needs of the modern internet users,” Miguel Bitanga, president and chief executive of Bitstar, said.

“We use apps for everything else in our lives; our internet should not be any different,” he added.

Bitstar is also positioning affordability as one of its key selling points in the enterprise broadband market.

“Affordability is also important for Bitstar customers because fiber internet is a relative commodity in other countries, but still a luxury for many businesses here,” Bitanga said.

He said the company wants to make reliable, high-speed internet more accessible to enterprises through competitively priced service plans.

Bitstar is entering Metro Manila’s competitive telecommunications sector through a hybrid network strategy that combines its own infrastructure with partnerships with existing telecommunications providers. The company said this approach allows it to use established network assets while expanding service availability.

The rollout comes as the telecommunications industry sees a more open environment following the passage of the Konektadong Pinoy Act, which seeks to encourage more investment and competition in digital infrastructure and broadband services.

According to the company, its partnerships, digital-first operating model, and competitively priced internet plans are intended to position Bitstar as an alternative provider for enterprises looking for reliable connectivity without the complexity often associated with traditional telecommunications services.

Bitstar said it aims to capitalize on this opportunity by expanding beyond Metro Manila while maintaining its focus on customer experience, affordability, and enterprise-grade connectivity.
