The Philippine Army has conducted a pre-exit conference to review initial audit findings and identify corrective actions ahead of its formal meeting with the Commission on Audit (COA).
The conference was held at the Philippine Army headquarters in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, on May 18, and was led by Army Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Christopher Tampus and Internal Auditor Brig. Gen. Roderick Balbanero.

During the meeting, Army management and audit teams discussed preliminary audit results covering the organization’s financial transactions and operations for calendar year 2025.
The discussions also focused on actions to be taken before the formal COA Exit Conference scheduled on May 20.

The Philippine Army said the activity reflects its commitment to sound financial management, strong internal controls, and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
As a professional military organization, the Army said it continues to uphold integrity and accountability in its audit practices.
