The municipal government of Pateros has distributed financial assistance to families affected by a fire that hit Alley 2 in Barangay Sta. Ana a few days ago, as part of its continuing relief and recovery efforts for residents displaced by the incident.

The aid was personally released at the Maria Concepcion Cruz High School (MCCHS) evacuation center by Mayor Gerald German, together with Acting Vice Mayor Councilor Allan Dela Cruz and other municipal councilors.

The local government said the financial support is intended to help address the immediate needs of families who temporarily lost their homes and sources of livelihood because of the fire.

Also present during the distribution were barangay officials and representatives from the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, who helped ensure the orderly release of assistance to the affected families.

The municipal government emphasized that quick action, unity, and compassion from both the government and the community are vital during times of crisis.

Officials said Pateros will continue delivering assistance and services to residents, especially those facing emergencies and difficult circumstances.

The local government also urged the public to remain vigilant, support community preparedness programs, and continue working together toward a safer and more resilient Pateros.
