The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) will suspend the number coding scheme across Metro Manila on Monday, November 2, in observance of All Souls’ Day, allowing motorists to travel without the usual number coding restrictions.
November 2 has been declared a special non-working holiday.
“Awtomatikong sinususpinde ang number coding tuwing regular at special non-working holidays,” the MMDA said.
Meanwhile, the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) expects around 1.9 million passengers to use the transport terminal this year as travelers head to the provinces for the Undas break.
Some passengers have already started traveling to their home provinces more than a week before Undas to avoid the expected crowds and secure their tickets ahead of the anticipated surge in travelers.
