Vice President Sara Duterte has called on supporters to attend a prayer mass for the safe return of former president Rodrigo Duterte.

In a social media post, Duterte invited the public to a church gathering scheduled on March 11 at the San Pedro Cathedral in Davao City.

The event, titled “Bring Him Home,” is set from 12 noon to 1 p.m., according to the announcement shared online.

“A church mass to pray for the safe return of Former President Rodrigo Duterte,” the post read.

Supporters attending the event were also encouraged to wear green.

The call for a prayer gathering comes as Duterte remains in detention in The Hague following proceedings at the International Criminal Court over charges linked to alleged crimes against humanity.

Duterte, who led the Philippines from 2016 to 2022, has denied wrongdoing in connection with the anti-drug campaign conducted during his administration.

His supporters have organized various activities and online campaigns calling for his return to the Philippines while legal proceedings at the ICC continue.
