ABS-CBN Corp. is expanding its global footprint through a new partnership with Rakuten Viki, bringing select Filipino titles to audiences in more than 200 countries and territories.
Through the collaboration, ABS-CBN content will be available across the Americas, Europe, Oceania, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, with English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French subtitles. More language options are expected through Viki’s global community-driven subtitling network.
The partnership strengthens ABS-CBN’s push to position Filipino storytelling on the global stage, allowing more international viewers to access its drama, entertainment, lifestyle, and other content through one of the world’s leading streaming platforms for Asian entertainment.
Rakuten Viki has more than 120 million registered users worldwide, giving ABS-CBN a wider platform to reach global audiences seeking Asian content.
ABS-CBN has sold more than 50,000 hours of content to over 50 countries, reflecting the continued demand for Filipino stories and talent in international markets.
Its ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube channel also remains the most subscribed media and entertainment channel in Southeast Asia, with 54.8 million subscribers.
The Rakuten Viki partnership was facilitated by ABS-CBN’s International Sales Division as the company continues to expand its international content distribution business and strengthen its worldwide audience reach.
